Reinforced or non-reinforced elastic bearing pads
Elastic bearings, also known as elastic bearings, are a type of bridge bearings. According to structure
Elastic bearings can be divided into reinforced elastic bearings and non-reinforced elastic bearings.
Reinforced elastomers can be divided into laminated bearings and PTFE sliding elastomer bearings. Non-reinforced elastic bearings are also called ordinary elastic bearings and are generally used for small-displacement bridges with simple structures.
PTFE sliding elastic bearing - free sliding
PTFE sliding elastic bearing is a type of elastomer bearing bush. It is made of a layer of PTFE with a thickness of 1.5 mm to 3 mm adhered to the surface of a laminated elastomer bearing bush. Compared to laminated elastomeric bearing pads, it adds a layer of PTFE with a lower coefficient of friction, so the beam ends can slide freely on the bearing surface with unrestricted horizontal displacement. PTFE sliding elastic bearings are suitable for bridges with small and medium loads and large displacements.

application
Elastic bearings are suitable for large-span, multi-span continuous beams, simply supported beams, and large-displacement bridges with continuous plate structures. It can also be used as a slider for pushing continuous beams and transverse sliding for T-shaped beams.
