What is a car charger
OBC chargers, also known as on-board chargers, are widely used in new energy/electric vehicles, RV, HEV, EV power conversion projects, mainly composed of power circuits (rectification + PFC + phase-shifting full bridge) and control circuits, and are key components of automotive power Electronics, the main function is AC/DC converter. The car charger takes AC power as input and output as DC to charge the power battery directly.

troubleshooting
If the charger seems to stop charging prematurely, we recommend connecting to the BMS unit, using the BMS utility and monitoring the charge current limit (CCL) to determine if the BMS is limiting current.
If CCL is zero, the BMS will shut down the charger for some reason.
If CCL is non-zero, the charger may be defective or have a wiring problem.
