GLS Quartz supplies fused silica plates from a standard stock range or custom sizes and options. Fused silica plates are widely used in industry and science because of their optical and mechanical properties. These properties make it resistant to chemicals, high temperatures and thermal shock. These include large quartz plates with an area of 1 square meter to protect delicate optical window devices with multi-layer coatings. It is machined into custom designs in various shapes and thicknesses.
