Water-cooled magnetron
The OM75P is a continuous wave magnetron with a fixed frequency of 2465MHz and high efficiency.
For the power supply, an LC single-phase half-wave frequency multiplier should be used.
- Filament voltage should be measured at the tube terminals.
- The combination of transformer and capacitor should be chosen such that for normal line voltage, Ia mean =330mA±1% and la peak 1020 to 1050mA.
- It is recommended to use 10-12KV avalanche diodes as protection for capacitors and transformers.
- See pages 5 and 6 for waveguide configuration and power supply.
- A water load of VSWR≤1.1 in the 2425MHz to 2475MHz frequency band should be used.
- Unless otherwise stated, restrictions apply to tubes within 15 seconds after voltage is applied and at 25°C.
- Tubes should be "at room temperature" for at least four hours prior to testing.
- During the test, the magnetron shall be forced water cooled at 1.40L/min in.
