How to play
Place the bowl directly in the center of its rubber ring. This helps keep the bowl still so that the singing bowl does not cause the bowl to rotate. It also prevents your bowl from pouring or touching any of your surfaces, making it resonant sufficiently. Run the forward gently, evenly and firmly, on the outer rim and start to resonate. If your forward is rattleing or producing a harsh high pitch, you either sing too fast or you don't have enough pressure on the edge. Excessive strength or speed can produce bad sounds and even damage your singing bowl. These bowls are soft, soothing sounds to relieve your mind. So, play slowly. Also, if you play with many bowls at a time, try separating them all at least a foot away. Not only will this make singing easier, it will also prevent your bowls from hitting each other.
