At an altitude of 1,600 meters, the climate is pleasant, with a daytime temperature of 17-23 degrees Celsius and a nighttime temperature of 17-13 degrees Celsius. The rich basalt soil resources and dense fog all year round make landing here an ideal place to relax. Therefore, the French decided to make Da Lat a resort city.
