Hennessy Pure White Cognac 700mL

This unique white cognac is made up of the Grande Champagne, Petite Champagne, Boutonies and Fins Bois
Hennessy Pure White has been available for some time in the Caribbean (Bahamas, Antigua, Aruba, Jamaica) and in some countries in Europe. The bottle states that it is made from "the finest white grapes", which expresses "the quality of the white wine from which it was produced". The classic white "cognac" grapes: ugni blanc, folle blanche and colombard are found in almost all cognacs. So, nothing special here.
What makes this cognac different is that it has floral and sweet fruity notes, quite different from Hennessy Noir or Hennessy VS. The design of the bottle body is also very different from the cognac bottles we usually see, very refreshing design. Hennessy uses screw caps instead of corks because corks can leak after a while if they are stored in the refrigerator.
Most cognacs today are cold-filtered, and so is this flat white. When you cool filter your spirits, you filter out some of the heavier "fats," which provide a richer flavor profile. These fats, which cloud the spirit as it cools, are filtered out for purely cosmetic reasons.
The aging range for brandy base wines is between 15 and 50 years old. The fat bottle belies a skinny pack as it contains 70cL, 1.69 oz less than a generic 750mL wine bottle. However, the punch it contained was still the familiar 40% alcohol by volume. To enjoy the aroma of Hennessy Pure White, chill the bottle in ice for a while and drink in a glass over ice or as a long drink. Cocktails (especially tropical ones) are also noteworthy for their ability to mix.

nose: Simple, not too aggressive, subtle; very mild fruity and floral fragrance even when fully inhaled.
smell: Simple drink, very fresh and smooth with floral and sweet fruity aroma.

age: Between 15 and 50 years, the taste is younger....
