Dental impressions are negative impressions of hard (teeth) and soft tissues in the mouth from which positive replicas (casts or models) can be formed. It is made by placing the appropriate material into a stock or custom dental impression tray designed to roughly fit the dental arch.

Step 1: Get the impression tray and stand in front of the mirror.
Step 2: Open the set of putty, white and colored. Make sure your hands are clean to prevent dust or dirt from coming into contact with the putty.
Step 3: Use your fingers to knead the impression material to an even color in 45 seconds or less.
Step 4: Roll into a log shape. Pack and distribute evenly in the upper tray.
Make sure to fill from edge to edge with your fingers. This process is best done in the 90s.
Step 5: Place the tray in the center of the tooth and gently press to the end with your fingers. Let it rest for about 3 minutes.
Step 6: Open your mouth and pull straight down.
Step 7: Repeat the process for the lower and upper trays. You will get the perfect impression of your teeth.
