Product Description

What are VRFs?

Compared to other HVAC systems available, VRF systems are among the most advanced and energy efficient air conditioning systems available. A VRF system has four defining characteristics.

1. First, these systems use refrigerant only to generate cool air. Compare this to a traditional HVAC system that uses water to cool the air. In traditional systems, the refrigerant is only used to cool the water, which is then circulated through the system.

2. Second, the VRF system uses an inverter compressor. These low-energy compressors draw very limited power and only allow the unit to extract enough energy to partially cool the system.

3. Next, VRF systems have multiple air handlers that can be connected together in the same refrigerant circuit.

4. Finally, this defined function enables the VRF system to be modularly scalable for growing projects.

The fan coil unit is mainly composed of a centrifugal fan and a coil heat exchanger. It is the terminal equipment of the central air conditioning system. The fan sends indoor air or outdoor mixed air into the air cooler for cooling or heating and then sends it into the room to reduce or increase the indoor temperature to meet people's comfort requirements.
