Why use zinc wire spraying in anti-corrosion surface treatment technology?
- Zinc-sprayed surfaces are a good basis for painting due to their porosity, but should be painted immediately after spraying to avoid corrosion products.
- Can be sprayed on large pieces that are not suitable for hot-dip galvanized pots.
- The work can be done on site (bridges, railings) and can be sprayed in special thicknesses.
- The surface to be coated does not heat up, i.e. the structure does not change due to heat.
- The life of the spray coating can be estimated in most environments based on the coating thickness. This makes it possible to carry out a maintenance plan for the system.
- If the paint layer is damaged, a zinc coating can be applied to protect the steel structure from cathodic corrosion.
