Modern designDemand has begun to push the envelope to maximize the concept of "all glass" in architecture. With this concept in mind, a "spider" shaped glass fitting was developed. Spider fittings are designed to manufacture all glass facades and to withstand loads related to wind loads and chimney pressure. They transfer these loads to the structure, either through the building's structural framing using column-mounted spiders, or to floors and ceilings using fin-stabilized spiders.
