Old Corrugated Cardboard (OCC)

Our company provides customers with a wide range of OCC Waste Paper, Corrugated Boxes: Class 11 (OCC), Double Sorted Corrugated: Class 12 (DS OCC), Magazines: Class 10 (OMG), Back Issue News: Class 9 (OI or OIN ) and OCC 95/5. We also provide special products according to customer requirements. We have established long-term relationships with global OCC (Old Corrugated Cardboard) and fiber buyers across a wide range of industrial operations.

We use our experience, versatility and scale to secure niche markets and competitive pricing for grocery chains, retail stores, manufacturers, assembly operations and other companies with significant OCC. Unlike smaller brokers and recyclers, Tradex Global Inc can store, process and ship large volumes of cardboard. The end result: We'll increase the value you recover from your waste stream while assuring you of transparency, detailed reporting and timely shipments.

Difference Between OCC Grades 11 and 12

There are some notable differences between the OCC 11 recovered paper specification and the OCC 12 recovered paper specification. OCC 11, also known as Grade 11 OCC, mainly includes corrugated boxes for paper recycling. They usually come in kraft, jute or test liners and are sold the same. The OCC 12 recovered paper specification is also commonly referred to as DS OCC or double sorted corrugated category. This specific assortment includes different types of double corrugated boxes produced by supermarkets as well as commercial and industrial facilities. These double corrugated boxes also have jute liners, test liners and/or kraft paper. These materials are specially sorted to ensure they are free of cardboard and offshore corrugated materials, wax and plastic. In the case of OCC Class 12 material, the total rejection shall not exceed 2%. Prohibited material in this category does not exceed half of the 1%.
