LION CORPORATION (THAILAND) LIMITED

Year 1966, set up Lion Toothpaste Factory on Songvard Road, Bangkok by joint venture between Saha Pathanapibul Co., Ltd. and Lion Toothpaste Japan. Year 1967, founded The Lion Fat & Oil Thailand Co., Ltd. by joint venture between Saha Pathanapibul Co., Ltd. and The Lion Fat & Oil Japan, manufactured Top detergent and Lion powder shampoo instead of import from japan. That was an intention of Dr. Tiam Chokwatana, President of the Company at that time, operated on March 5, 1969. Year 1970, expanded Lipon F dishwashing liquid production. Later, other innovative products were introduced into the market such as Pao Boon Jin detergent, Q Lean Anti-dandruff shampoo, Fight stain remover Pao M Wash powder detergent for washing machine, Pao Soft The first detergent with softener in Thailand and gradually released other products followed.Year 1979, the Company has prospered continuously. Thus expanding the second production site to Saha Industrial Park, Sriracha, Chonburi. That increased its production capacity to meet the growing market demand.And in year 1980, the two Companies merged, namely, Lion Toothpaste Co., Ltd. and The Lion Fat & Oil (Thailand) Co., Ltd., as "Lion (Thailand) Co., Ltd." Supplied products export to Japan, Southeast Asia and Worldwide until present.
