Phosphorus-copper brazing alloys also called 0% silver brazing alloy, copper alloy, it is a copper brazing material based on copper and phosphorus.
Generally, according to the international standard, the content of phosphorus is about 4%-8%, and the melting point of materials is about 700-820 degrees.
Very suitable for brazing copper to copper, copper to copper alloys.
The phosphorus content in Phosphorus Copper alloys acts as a fluxing agent.
Further more, there exists another phosphorus copper brazing alloy with tin containing, which has a lower melting point (600-700 C) than the common copper-phosphorus brazing alloys, better fluidity and higher strength.
It has been world widely used.
Sometimes, it can replace the brazing application of phosphorus copper alloy and silver-phosphorus-copper alloy.
Copper-phosphorus brazing alloy is cheap and widely used, suitable for many brazing processes, such as flame brazing, furnace brazing, induction brazing, resistance brazing, etc.
It can be made into round rod, flat bar, square stick, solid wires, foil strips, rings, even granules, powders, pastes, etc.
