3. GSM smoke detector with SIM card

1.SOS alarm

The device can send SMS for SOS alarm.

Press the SOS button, the alarm LED lights up and the buzzer starts ringing (default ringing time is 3 minutes). Then the device sends an alarm SMS to the preset main number. Pressing the button again will stop the buzzer and the device will return to its pre-alarm state.

The alarm SMS number (up to 5 groups), the main number (1 group), and the content of the SMS can be set by the user. (Please refer to the "System Settings" below for the detailed setting method.) The default SMS is "Fire Alarm".

2. Smoke alarms

The device's smoke detection is based on optoelectronic technology. When it detects smoke, it makes a call and sends a text message to a preset phone number.

If triggered again within 3 minutes of the first alarm, the device will not issue an alarm signal. And within 3 minutes, if the user presses the SOS button, or arm the device via SMS, the buzzer will stop ringing, and the device can return to detection after 1 minute and 40 seconds.

After sending the alarm SMS, the device will automatically enter the armed state.

3. Reset

Press and hold the SOS button for 5 seconds, (release until the buzzer emits a long sound), the device will return to the factory state. All settings will be restored to default values.

Operation guide

1. Insert the SIM card into the card slot. Make sure your SIM card has enough balance to make calls and send text messages.

2. Connect the power adapter. The LED indicator will be on for about 10 seconds, and the device will start a self-test. If a SIM card is detected, the buzzer will beep twice; if not, it will beep four short beeps. If the indicator light flashes once every two seconds, it means that the main number has not been set; if it keeps flashing fast, it means that the main number is set, but the SIM card is not detected.

3. To make sure all settings are default before use, you can reset them.

4. Set the main number. Only this number can set the smoke alarm.

5. Now you can make other settings and use this device.

6. In the whole working state, the device will check the GSM network. Then the GSM signal is below 20% (not enough to make calls and send text messages) and the Alert LED will keep flashing fast as before. At this time, the position of the device should be replaced until the signal indicator is normal.

7. This device has a power off/restore reminder function. When the external power supply is disconnected, it is powered by the backup battery and sends the SMS "Power Charger Off". The external power supply recovery text message is "Power Charger on".
